Men and women managing diabetes in their lives can acquire health advice, important medical related information and motivation during a health fair and diabetes conference at the Sacramento Convention Center this Saturday.

The nonprofit organization Taking Control of Your Diabetes is hosting the conference and health fair to support patients living with diabetes. The function is designed for diabetics as well as their family and friends. The main goal of the conference is to offer diabetes education and motivation that may be missing from patients’ traditional treatment.

The conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sacramento Convention Center. Admission costs $25 and includes lunch. Financial aid will also be available for those who need it.
